笠木から後脚にかけての部材は、一本の曲げ木のみで造形した。

それにより重々しい接合部なく笠木が飛び、椅子全体がよりいっそう軽やかな印象になる。強靭さとしなやかさを合わせ持ち、そして継ぎ目なく描かれる木の曲線。そうした"曲げ木"という素材の魅力に触れられる椅子にしたいと思った。

This chair has a single bentwood from the top beam to the back legs. Because this part is formed by one element, it doesn't need heavy joints. That's why this chair looks light. The bentwood's shape is graceful like a single curve on a sketch. Furthermore, it is strong enough to support our body. I want you to feel the feature of a bentwood through this chair.
